{"id":7,"date":"2006-02-27T11:39:30","date_gmt":"2006-02-27T16:39:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smilingdogapps.com\/wordpress\/?p=7"},"modified":"2006-02-27T11:39:30","modified_gmt":"2006-02-27T16:39:30","slug":"getting-noticed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sdapps.com\/index.php\/2006\/02\/27\/getting-noticed\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting noticed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">Man it\u2019s tough getting a little attention for some shareware.\u00a0 That\u2019s probably my fault and it\u2019s not like I wasn\u2019t warned about it, like years ago.\u00a0 For example, I wanted to be a writer at one time and my grandma told me that it was a really tough field to get noticed in.\u00a0 She bought me a book about marketing novels to the world and the thing I really remember was that it said there are 2 kinds of writers, one that writes a book and then goes to find agents and book publishers to publish them, the second is one that finds what needs to be written and seeks a contract before writing the whole thing.\u00a0 The lesson was that the latter makes the consistent money.
